Middle School Gifted Services

 

Gifted students in grades 6 through 8 are served in a resource / pull-out classroom five days per week.  Students participate in curricular enrichment activities such as current events / debates, advanced vocabulary through the study of Greek and Latin, advanced English literature, and logic and reasoning skills development.  Seventh and eighth grade students participate in Model United Nations at Ohio University Southern, where they present, debate and defend their chosen nation's resolution.  The sixth grade students participate in TAG Camp at Shawnee State University and the Lawrence County TAG Quiz Bowl.
