Accounting - Grade 11-12
Accounting develops basic bookkeeping skillsusing an 8 step accounting cycle for a sole proprietorship, a partnership and a coorporation. Accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
are covered and applied. Each section of the course builds upon the previous sections learned. Computerized accounts is also integrated after each accounting concept is learned and applied manually. Thinking skills are
developed and management skills are applied with case studies that are developed for each chapter. This course benefits anyone interested in taking business in college or a career in accounting or management. Anyone interested in running their
own business should take accounting.
