Keyboarding I - Grade 9-12
All students can benefit from Keyboarding I. The touch method of keyboarding is taught a few letters at a time with the keyboard and hands covered. They keypad numbers are also taught using the touch method.
Computer software is used for reinforcement as well as challenge drills to increase speed and accuracy. After mastering the keyboard, the students apply their skills and learn basic business formatting for memos, letters, and reports.
These basic skills are needed in other classes throughout high school and college.
