Speak Up: Communications With A Dramatic Flair (semester class - Open to all students)
Have you ever wanted more self-confidence? Are you tired of your voice getting "lost in the crowd"? Then this class is for you! Learn dynamic confidence and leadership
skills in public speaking. Students in this class will experience opportunities for both extemporaneous and scripted speaking. Students will participate in activities ranging all the way from pantomime; learning appropriate
body language; acting in skits and one act plays to competitive public speaking and learning how to conduct oneself at a professional lunch meeting. All students will be encouraged to participate in the SCORES competition and other speech
contests sponsored by schools or community groups.
