Pyschology - Grade 11-12
Psychology is the study of human behavior. In this class we cover a variety of different topics that add to the mosaic of this very complex field. We begin each semester with the study of human development, and then move on to the study of personality. These topics help us to explore the dominant schools within the field of Psychology. The next subject to be considered is an exploration of human perception and the rise of Gestalt and Cognitive Psychology. The course concludes with an examination of learning, motivations, stree, and finally with mental illness. Student's grades are determined by a series of essay exams, and class participation in a various experiments is factored into final results.
