Industrial Arts I
This is the basic foundations class for the beginning student in the Industrial Arts Series. This class starts with basic concepts such as reading a ruler, safety, tool identification, and shop procedures. The
first grading period is usually used as an intro to this field and consists of lectures with tests given weekly. Basidc hand tools are used in the first project with some power tools added as the student progresses.
There are no lab fees to pay, and the students only pay for the wood they use on their projects.
