Science 9 - Grade 9

This course focuses on an introduction to Chemistry and Physics. Emphasis is placed on the practical applications of Science to an ever-increasing technological society. Course content covers the tools of science, the nature, structure and properties of matter, chemical reactions, and a study of energy. Specific topics include work, simple machines, fluids, heat, light, waves, electricity, and motion.

Academic Science 9 - Grade 9 (It is recommended that students be taking Algebra I)

This course focuses on an in depth understanding of Chemistry and Physics. Students will be required to demonstrate a deeper understanding of principles, theories, and laws that govern these two scientific disciplines. Preparation for college and training beyond High School is a major emphasis.
