The Rock Hill Youth Recreation League Cheer Homecoming Dance is this Saturday, September 26th, in the Rock Hill Elementary Gym.
Kindergarten through 2nd grade will attend from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, and 3rd through 6th grade will attend from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
Admission is $5.00, and concessions will be available.
All students must be signed in and signed out by an adult. Please enter through the front doors of the elementary school.

Good morning, Rock Hill Middle School families.
Due to the current heat advisory, with heat index values expected to reach as high as 104 degrees, we are making adjustments to our middle school athletic schedule to help protect the health and safety of our student-athletes.
Tonight’s middle school soccer match against Portsmouth, scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, has been postponed. A make-up date will be announced once it has been determined.
In addition, Thursday’s middle school football game will now begin at 7:00 PM instead of its originally scheduled start time.

Due to the forecasted weather conditions and for the safety of our student-athletes, families, coaches, and community, the Meet the Redmen event scheduled for this evening at the stadium has been canceled. We will still be having the tailgate and open house. Tailgate will now start at 4:00 p.m. to try and beat the weather and open house will be from 6:00 to 8:00. Meet the Redmen and Open house will be Monday August 17th. Tailgating will start at 4:30 in the teachers parking lot at the high school with hot dogs, chips, ice cream and drinks being served to all. Meet the Redmen will begin at 6:00 on the football field and open house will follow immediately after, at each building until 8:30. Hope to see you all there!!

We will be giving out free meals for all kids 18 and under every Thursday at Mamre Church from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This will run through July 30th with no pick up on July 16th do to the county fair.

This is not a service through Rock Hill. The Lawrece County Educational Service Center will be overseeing this.

The Rock Hill Local School District will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026. Elementary Students will be signed out in the wings. Please be here by 11:30 a.m. if you are picking your child up. Please arrange your schedule so that someone will be at home, or at the bus stop to get your child/children. MIddle school and High school will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. also.
