There will be a Local 252 meeting on Thursday, July 2nd 2026 at Rock Hill Middle School at 4:00 pm.
We will be giving out free meals for all kids 18 and under every Thursday at Mamre Church from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This will run through July 30th with no pick up on July 16th do to the county fair.

Board Meeting time change
HS Boys Basketball program will be having open gym at the HS Gymnasium this week, for any boys currently in grades 6-11 who are interested in playing basketball. Open gyms will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday this week from 6:30-8:30 pm each evening. Thank you
Doors will open for the Graduation ceremony at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 17th, Graduates should be lined up in the 300 wing hallway by 12:45 p.m. The ceremony will start at 2:00 p.m.

Monday May 11th is graduation practice for ALL seniors planning to walk in graduation. Graduation practice is mandatory. The events of the day start at 8:30 a.m. with cap and gown pictures. Please bring your cap and gown with you. All events will be over by 11:30 a.m.

This is a reminder that Rock Hill Middle School will be offering Summer School as an enrichment opportunity for students. Summer School will be held May 26th through May 29th and June 1st through June 4th from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM each day at Rock Hill Middle School.
We will be offering support in all core content areas, including Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. This is a great opportunity for students to strengthen skills, build confidence, and get a head start on the upcoming school year.
Breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided for all students attending.
Enrollment forms were sent home with students yesterday. Please complete and return the form to the school by Friday, May 15th to reserve your child’s spot.

Rock Hill Family Medical Center will be offering free sports physicals for the upcoming school year. They will be tomorrow April 28th and Wednesday April 29th. These will be for middle and high school students participating in sports next year. If you chose to have your kids physical at Rock Hill Family Medical Center, a clinic packet and physical form are required before the nurse will schedule their physical. Make sure you have your child check with their schools nurse to make sure all paperwork is up to date and if not, they can get the paperwork they need from the school nurse in their building.
We have received multiple complaints regarding parents that are utilizing dedicated handicap parking spots during after school pickup who do not have the proper handicap identification displayed on their vehicles. This is a violation of Ohio State law. We have several parents that have health/mobility issues that need the availability of these parking spots.
We appreciate your assistance in rectifying this matter. If this situation continues to be a problem, Rock Hill Local School District will have no other course of action but to contact Local authorities and ask for assistance.
