Per the Rock Hill Middle School administration, students will not be allowed to carry archery bows on the school buses. If a child uses their own bow, they must follow specific directives from the archery advisor to safely bring them to and from school. In the interest of safety, the decision is supported by the board of education and the middle school administration. Once again, no archery bows are allowed on school buses or school related vehicles. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Thank you for working with us.
To those who are picking up students at the end of the day at Rock Hill Middle School, we ask that your children remain in your vehicle or with you for safety purposes as you wait for your middle school child to be dismissed. Rock Hill Middle School will have parent teacher conferences tomorrow, February 12, 2026, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. To allow guardians to plan accordingly, our staff will eat dinner from 4:30pm to 5:15pm. We hope to see you tomorrow.
Rock Hill Middle School would like to remind students, now that we are back in the building after weather days and virtual instruction, we need everyone’s help. Students, please remember to bring your Chromebook chargers back to school. Chargers should be returned so they can be stored in your classrooms, just like before. This helps make sure devices are charged, organized, and ready for learning each day.

Due to melting snow and further incoming snow that will turn to ice throughout the night and morning hours, the 7th grade girls' championship game tomorrow, February 7th at 10:00 am against Coal Grove will be postponed. Further assessment will be made throughout the day tomorrow regarding the 5:00pm remaining middle school games against South Point. The safety of our children and community are top priority.
