Due to gym availability, High school volleyball open gym is canceled for Thursday 5/19.
We will resume 5/23, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after school for the remainder of May in the high school gymnasium.

Tomorrow, May 16th, Rock Hill Middle School will continue the process of collecting student Chromebooks. Any 8th grade student that failed to turn in their Chromebook & Charger today will need today so tomorrow. 7th grade students will also be collected. Please be prepared to return your Chromebook and Charger. Thank you.
Rock Hill Middle School will begin summer school on Tuesday, May 30th from 8:30 am to Noon for any students who should qualify for retention. Also, we are opening our program to any middle school student who would like to come to receive additional practice or tutoring. We will not turn any child away who wants additional practice, so please understand our program is not mandatory for those who will have passed. On the other hand, any student who meets the category of retention will receive a letter stating they must attend summer school and meet its requirements to be promoted. Once again, this program is not mandatory for those who are promoted.
Rock Hill Middle School will be having its National Junior Honor Society Induction tomorrow, May 9th, at 10:00 am. Doors will be opened for the community to enter the school at 9:30 am. We hope to see you.
Due to some field trips, several of our students were unable to have their spring picture taken today. We wanted to make you aware that we will also be doing pictures tomorrow morning, Thursday, May 4th, so that everyone who needs them taken can have the opportunity.
Rock Hill Middle School would like to give a big shout out to EZ Squeezee Lemonade for providing all of our kids drinks. This meant so much to us!
8th-11th grade girl's volleyball open gym will be Tuesday and Wednesday this week at the High School from 3:00-4:30.
We hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter break and look forward to seeing our students this Monday. The middle school students and staff will be walking to the high school to attend an assembly Monday at 1:05pm to watch and listen to the Cincinnati Dragons wheelchair basketball team. This will be a great opportunity. Students will be back to the middle school to catch their regularly scheduled buses and car pick ups as normal.
Rock Hill Middle School will continue its standardized testing tomorrow. We ask that students continue to get plenty of rest this evening, eat a good breakfast in the morning, and do the best they possibly can on their exam. The Administration would like to wish all of our students well.

Grades Kindergarten through 2nd can attend from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Grades 3rd through 6th can attend from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Students must be signed in and out at the front door. Admission is $5 and concessions will be available.
The final youth cheerleading sign up will be tomorrow , April 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p. m. in the elementary cafeteria. Registration fee is $25 and cheerleaders should be present to be sized for uniforms.

Parents this notification is to let you know that your child's bus may be running a few minutes later than normal this evening. We have buses arriving late back to school from a field trip to Marshall University. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Due to staff in-service and training, students will not attend school on Monday, April 3rd, 2023. Normal school schedule will resume on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023.
The RH Extended Learning After School Program will also be cancelled for Monday, April 3rd, 2023. The program will resume normal operation on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023.
Rock Hill Elementary will be having preschool and kindergarten registrations for the 2023-2024 school year on Tuesday, April 4th and Wednesday, April 5th from 10 to 2. Anyone wishing to enroll their child must bring the following:

Proof of Residency
Custody Papers (if applicable)
Household Income (preschool only)
We want to wish our middle school students well as they begin the language arts section of the Ohio State Exam. Students should be sure to get plenty of rest this evening, eat breakfast in the morning, and try their very best during the exam.
The Kindergarten parent night scheduled for Tuesday, March 21st will be rescheduled at a later date. We look forward to seeing you as soon as a new date is established.

The Rock Hill Youth Cheerleaders are hosting a Spring vendor fair this Saturday, March 18th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the elementary. The Easter bunny will be present from 11:00 am to 1:00pm. Inflatables and food trucks will be available. Admission is free for children and $3 for adults.
Cheerleading sign ups will also take place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm during the vendor fair.
A second sign up will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 10:00am to 2:00 pm at the elementary.
