THIS IS JUST A REMINDER THAT DURING PROGRAMS TOMORROW THERE WILL BE A CONCESSION STAND AVAILABLE. WE WILL BE SERVING POPCORN AND DRINKS!
Rock Hills Lights on the Hill will be this Wednesday December 15, 2021 from 6-9 p.m. We encourage everyone to enter from State Route 650. From Hanging Rock these will be the directions you take. Drive 4.2 Miles out 650 North turn right onto Pine Grove Smokey Road drive 2.2 miles to Rock Hill Middle School where Our Show begins. This is located on the left hand side of the road you will go through the parking lot to the Bus Garage, Board Office and High School then left onto County Road 26 where you will then be directed to the Elementary School to finish your light show experience. You will exit to side of the EMS Station back out onto County Road 26 and turn right leading you back to State Route 93. Any cars entering from State Route 93 will be directed to the end of the line coming from 650, also Township Road 169 to County Road 26 will be closed down for the time of light show.

Rock Hill Middle School will not have the after school extended learning program the week of 12/13/21.

The Rock Hill Local School District will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Board of Education offices at 6:30 p.m.
The Lawrence County Health Department will be at Rock Hill Elementary on Monday, December 6th from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The clinic will be for anyone age 5 and older who needs their 1st, 2nd or booster shot,
Rock Hill Elementary Christmas Programs will be open to the public! All spectators must wear a mask to the programs. Programs will be on the following dates and times:
Monday, December 13th- 10:00, Preschool and 2nd Grade
Monday, December 13th- 1:30, 4th Grade and 3rd Grade
Tuesday, December 14th- 10:00, Kindergarten and 5th Grade
Tuesday, December 14th- 1:30, 1st Grade and M.C. classes
The Elementary After School Program will not be operating from Tuesday, November 23rd through Monday, November 29th due to Thanksgiving Break. The program will resume normal operation on Tuesday, November 30th.

Rock Hill Middle School issued second grading period progress reports today to its students.

The Lawrence county health department will be at the elementary on Monday November 15th from 5:30-7:30 to administer Covid vaccinations for children age 5-11. Parent must be present for administration of the vaccine. Please complete the vaccination form and bring a copy of your insurance card. If you have any questions, please contact one of the school nurses.
We wanted to remind everyone that our Veterans Day assembly will be Nov. 11th. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the assembly will take place with students, staff, and speakers only. It will be closed to the general public. RHMS would like to thank our veterans for their service!
Elementary Picture Retakes will be on Monday, November 15, 2021 for any student in Grades K-5 and Pre-School students that attend on Monday and Tuesday. If you wish to have pictures retaken, please send in the original pictures on that day. if you child was absent on picture day, they can have pictures taken on this day.
Picture retakes for Pre-School that attend on Wednesday and Thursday will be on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
If your child will be getting pictures on either of these days, please have them pick up an order form in the front office or contact the school to let them know that you need a picture order form.
The High School will be holding a FAFSA Informational night to help Seniors and Guardians fill out the FAFSA. The meeting will be on November 8th at 6pm at the High School.
