Students will also be able to take the following courses: Monday - Social Studies Activities Tuesday - Board Games ELA & Social Studies topics Wednesday - Art Projects If your child would like to attend one of these classes, please right it on the letter to be returned to school. We apologize for these oversights and look forward to seeing everyone on Monday!

Rock Hill Middle School extended learning permission slips will need to be submitted by interested students no later than homeroom this Friday morning. The program begins this Monday, September 11th. Students will be fed, and buses will take students home at the end of the extended learning program. Guardians wishing to pick up their children will do so on the side parking lot exactly like traditional afternoon pickup protocol. Children must be signed out by an authorized individual if they are a pickup. We hope to see your child attend!

We would like to thank our Rock Hill Middle School community for bearing with us these past couple days. We have been in the process of working with our bell system and trying to coordinate afternoon pickups with bus times. Pickup time has not changed in the afternoon, as students will be signed out by a sanctioned adult per the time it has always been. We look forward to seeing those who pick up their children tomorrow shortly after the first dismissal bell. Once again, the pickup time is still going to be the original time as always. Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Guardians dropping off students at the middle school in the morning must circle around behind the building with the rest of the automobiles and stop at the stop sign on the west end where a teacher is located. No car is to use the front driveway of the school, as this is for bus drop offs and staff parking. Cars entering this area to avoid the drop off line in the back are putting themself and others at risk. Also, drop offs need to be in the building no later than 7:35am, since the teacher on duty will be departing to cover homeroom. Doors on the west end will then be closed and locked. Thanks for helping to keep our children safe.

We were just notified that Saint Mary's church will be conducting a military funeral tomorrow where a 21 gun salute will be fired around 2:30 pm. We wanted to notify you prior to eliminate any panic within our school district during school hours. Thanks

Drop off procedure each morning at the middle school requires cars to enter on the east lot nearest the bus garage and circle behind the middle school until coming to a stop sign. A teacher will be on duty located at the west side of the building. Another teacher will be stationed at the west wing entrance of the building for children to enter at 7:15 am. to go to either breakfast or to the gymnasium. In the evening, student pickups occur after 2:40pm with guardians parking on the side lot. Teachers will escort students who are being picked up to the designated wing. Guardians must sign out their student at the east side exit door with the teachers on duty. The exit door is located between the annex building and the weightroom. A sidewalk leads to this exit from the parking lot. For security reasons, guardians remain outside while the teachers release each child after they have been signed out at that exit.
