Rock Hill Elementary pictures will be on Monday, September 20th for all K thru 5 students and Monday and Tuesday Preschool students. Wednesday and Thursday Preschool students will have pictures on Thursday, September 23rd.
Rock Hill Youth Soccer practice will be cancelled for this evening. Pictures that were scheduled for this evening will be rescheduled for next Wednesday September 22 at the same times. Thank You!!
The Rock Hill High School Extended Learning Program will begin tomorrow after school until 5:00 each day, Monday through Thursday. All students are welcome and encouraged to attend. If your child has not turned in his/her permission slip, please make sure they do that tomorrow.
This is a reminder that the Rock Hill Elementary After School Program will begin on Monday, September 13th. The program will run until 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Thursday. Transportation and a snack will be provided each day. We encourage you to sign your children up for this exciting opportunity!
Senior parents- the nurse at the high school must have an up-to-date immunization record, that has a meningococcal vaccine noted on it. If your child does not have an up-to-date meningitis vaccine, the student can be seen at the Rock Hill Family medical center after you complete an application form from the nurse's office. If the immunization is not completed by September 20th, then your child will temporarily be kept out of school until the proper shot record is obtained. A letter was sent out today- if all immunizations are up-to-date, then please disregard.
The Rock Hill Local School District board of education will hold its regular monthly meeting on September 13, 2021 at the Rock Hill Local School District Board of Education offices at 6:30 p.m.
Rock Hill Elementary will begin it's After School program on Monday, Sept. 13th. We will be sending forms home again for any families that did not receive them the first time. Transportation and a snack will be provided each day. We encourage families to please sign up for this exciting program!
We are excited to begin our extended learning program this upcoming Monday at Rock Hill Middle School. Those students who wish to attend will need to have their signed permission slip submitted to their homeroom teacher by tomorrow, September 8, 2021. We hope to see you there.

We will begin scheduling for sessions this week, so we need those back. We are excited about this opportunity and look forward to beginning the program on Monday, September 13th. This will be available to all high school students.
All Youth soccer games will be canceled for today due to the weather. We have extended the season two weeks since we’ve had to cancel. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend.
Youth Soccer practice for tonight has been canceled due to the practice field being to muddy.
I am proud to announce our middle school will be partnering with the Lawrence County ESC starting Monday, September 13th in order to do an extended learning program. This will take place every Monday through Thursday until 5:00 pm. I highly encourage those students who need additional enrichment or intervention to attend. This is also great for those who have fallen behind due to having been quarantined. We care about our students and realize that there are no perfect solutions during a pandemic, but we want to find ways to provide supports to our kids during this turbulent time.

Youth Soccer practice for tonight is canceled due to the extreme temperature outside.
Due to a positive covid test and local health guidelines, the Rock Hill Football team is quarantined for the next 2 weeks. This means that Week 1 vs Minford and Week 2 vs Meadowdale have been canceled. Season ticket holders will be refunded for the canceled game.

Notice is hereby given that there will be a special meeting of the Rock Hill Local board of education of Lawrence County, Ohio, on the 19th day of August 2021 at 1:00 o’clock p.m. at the Rock Hill Board of Education offices to consider the following items the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of an employee. Consider an assistant athletic director position and school safety and security. The Board may also consider any other business that may be considered necessary to transact by board action.
Rock Hill Family Medical Center will have an open house on Tuesday, August 17th from 1 pm to 5 pm. Come out to meet our Nurse Practitioner, Nurses, Dentist, and Counselors.

The Lawrence County Health Department will be present to administer Covid-19 vaccinations to anyone age 12 or older.
