Boys middle school basketball players need to be at the school at 3:45 tomorrow to get their uniforms and catch the bus, they can just wear something comfortable tomorrow, we asked them to wear black athletic/sweat pants if they had them, black socks, if they want to wear a shirt under their jersey it must be red (ohsaa rule), there was an OVC meeting today to finalize policies for now, each player will be permitted 2 tickets that are purchased at the gate, those 2 tickets will be checked beside the player's name on the door roster, the gym will be cleared between the 7th and 8th grade game, 7th grade games begin at 5:30 with 8th starting afterwards, generally around 6:45 on most nights, players are free to ride home with parents afterwards so long as they are properly signed out on the sign out sheet (legal responsibility), they must bring their own drinks and must wear masks except when on the floor, all spectators must wear masks as well, if you have any questions contact Coach Sark or Coach Lutz.

Rock Hill Middle School stakeholders, we thank you for your support in working with us during this perilous time. The pandemic has caused us to modify the way we deliver instruction, not only at the middle school, but district wide. It is our top priority to keep your children safe. We ask students to continue logging in daily to check assignments and to examine any updates or posts made by teachers. Students are asked to submit assignments in a manner stated by their instructors. If you have any questions, we encourage you to message or call. Teachers are available during normal school hours. Moreover, it is pertinent that students log on to examine and complete assignments daily so they can remain current with their academics and attendance. It is each student's responsibility to log on to a computer or electronic device so as to complete assignments or assessments and ask questions relevant to their academic needs. Teacher assignments are also posted on the middle school webpage for the community to view. I would like to follow up to Mr. Sam Gue's previous post. The middle school is in the process of getting report cards in the mail. We are also mailing school pictures and any other relevant documentation pertaining to grades. Packages with school pictures will be labeled with the words "Do not bend." If you haven't picked up report cards or pictures directly from the office, you should be receiving them soon. In summary, we truly have the best stakeholders in the State. Once again, thank you for giving us the opportunity to educate your children during these challenging times. If you need to call the school, our number is 740-532-7026. Be safe and God Bless.

Attention all Rock Hill High School students and families: All report cards for the first nine weeks grading period have been mailed home. If you haven’t received it yet, it should be arriving soon. Please contact the school office if you do not receive your report card. We realize we are in challenging times, but when adversity hits in any way, our response to that adversity is the one thing we can control. Keep that in mind as we continue virtual learning during this time period. You are ready to succeed! We prepared for this very situation at the beginning of the school year. Pay special attention to your teachers’ assignments on a daily basis. It is your responsibility to login daily, check for lessons, complete assignments and tests, and ask questions in ANY situation you are struggling with regarding school work. We are here for you! We are at the school everyday during normal school hours. This means you are able to reach any teacher you need to speak with by calling the main office at (740) 532-7012 or via email. You are also able to make appointments with our teachers to come to the school and ask questions or work with them to help you with any of your academic needs. If you do not have reliable internet service, please coordinate with our school secretary, Mrs. Lena Dawson, so we are able to provide paper packets for school work. If you choose to come to the school to get paper packets, you will also need to bring those back completed in a timely manner. You will need to do this on a weekly basis. Please coordinate a time with Mrs. Dawson when you are returning work so a new packet will be ready for you of new assignments. Our hope is to continue to provide the best education we possibly can given whatever circumstances we are faced with.
