Congratulations to the League Champion Rock Hill Redmen B team for their excellent season. In the last game of the year, they defeated the Ironton Tigers by a score of 42-0! This final game of the year capped an outstanding season where the B team went undefeated, boasting a record of 6 wins and 0 losses. Not only were they undefeated, the B team finished the season scoring a whopping 240 points while not giving up a single point to their opponents! What an amazing achievement, and remarkable season boys. Your school is very proud of you!!

CAO Announcement
This message is from Sam Gue, the Principal at Rock Hill High School: I hope all is well with you and your family. I just wanted to remind everyone that our last day of the first nine weeks grading period is tomorrow (Friday, October 30th). Students, if you have assignments outstanding, please make sure to get those turned in remotely. In some of your classes, the Apex platform is being used, so pay special attention to the work in those classes, as well. All students should be working remotely everyday right now through next Friday, November 6th. If you are having any problems, please make sure you are in communication with our teaching staff. We are here for you at the school everyday, so feel free to call if you need help with anything. Report cards will be mailed out at the end of next week to all remote learners. Students attending in person will receive their report cards when we return on Monday, November 9th. We have several students who have decided to come back to in person learning and will begin when everyone else returns on November 9th. If you are currently remote and have intentions of returning to in person learning, you will need to notify our school guidance counselor, Mrs. Malone via email at bmalone@rockhill.org or call the school office and request to speak with her. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again soon!!

Update
Students who attend Collins Career Center from Rock Hill High School will still be able to attend. Transportation will be provided from the high school at 7:30 each morning. The bus will return at the end of the day at approximately 2:35. These students must provide their own transportation to the high school and then the bus will take them to and from Collins from there. Thank you for your understanding.

Rock Hill Middle School will be providing "What I Need, " or "WIN" time on our in-house virtual day each Friday. Students can still be pulled by their regular teachers if it is deemed necessary. Classes offered to our in-house students during WIN will be as followed: US/World History, Lawrence County History, Art/Art Appreciation, and Music Appreciation. Please note that these enrichments can be changed or modified per the administration. We would like to thank all those involved in making this happen. May God Bless the Rock Hill Local School District.

I just wanted to say how proud I am of our middle school during our cyber day today. Our students participated in an enrichment activity about bullying awareness and prevention. Great dialogue and interaction was evident as we met with grade levels throughout the day. We would also like to wish our Junior Redmen well during the Border Battle Rivalry game against Coal Grove. Keep our traveling trophy at RHMS!

RHHS will be working on assignments in the gymnasium on Thursday this week and beginning next week, every Friday for the foreseeable future in order to give teachers more time to work with their virtual students. Busses will still run and the students will be monitored by teachers and administration during this time. This decision will in no way impact Collins Career Center students.

Good luck to our Junior Redmen football team this evening as they play the Fairland Dragons. The next two football games are crucial in winning the championship. We would also like to remind everyone that tomorrow will be virtual Friday at the middle school. The same format will be followed as last Friday. Lastly, the middle school would like to wish our high school football team well in the next round of the playoffs as the Redmen play Fairland.
