
Huge congratulations goes out to the Football Little League B Team. Rock Hill is Super Bowl Champs Baby!! They defeated the Symmes Valley Vikings by the score of 20-8. What a terrific way to end the year, GREAT JOB BOYS!!!

Congratulations to the RHMS Cheerleaders who took first place in multiple categories this past weekend at the Symmes Valley Cheer Competition.

The RHHS Powderpuff Game originally scheduled for November 14th has been postponed until a later date.

Two claps to our RHMS athletes who won 1st place at the V-Ball Special Olympics today. Special thanks to the board office and Mrs. Arden for allowing us to host this 2-Day event, as well as the myriad of volunteers who came together to brighten each child’s day. Go Redmen!

Happy Birthday to Emmitt as he uses a switch to turn digital pages at the AT Exploration Fair at Rock Hill Elementary today. There is still time to catch the event until 5:00 pm this evening.



Congratulations goes out to both the B, and C Football Teams for their victories on Saturday. The C Team defeated Gallipolis by a score of 6-0, and the B Team defeated Ironton Black 14-8. This puts both teams in the Little League Super Bowl this coming Saturday. Good Luck Boys!! Bring the trophies home!!

The tradition of excellence within our cross country program continued in the Regionals this past Saturday. The boys team advanced to the state meet for the fourth time and the girls team fell just short of accomplishing the same goal. Competing at the highest level possible is a dream and this program continues to put itself in a position to do just that. Congratulations!!

A big shoutout to the middle school football team for defeating Coal Grove to go 2-0 in the Border Battle Rivalry. The trophy has been placed back to its rightful location in the RHMS case. Special thanks to our coaches, staff, parents, players, and community for their support.

Congratulations to Meredith Rogers for winning the Rock Hill Local School District Spelling Bee! Now it's on to the County Spelling Bee in December. Best of luck Meredith, we are all very proud of you.

I would like to congratulate the Rock Hill Little League Football Teams for their Homecoming Victories this past Saturday. The A Team won 36-18, the C Team won 30-0, and the Flag Football Team also posted a victory. Also, congratulations to the members of the Homecoming Court. The 3rd Grade Attendants and Escorts were Ollie Jenkins, escorted by Brady McFann, Kylee Brooks, escorted by Connor Moore. The 4th Grade Attendants and Escorts were Kylie Tedrick, escorted by Cameron Howard, JoLee Hankins, escorted by Brian Kidd. The 5th Grade Attendants and Escorts were Cailey Sturgill, escorted by Yaden Bailey, Kassidy Pennington, escorted by Silas Edwards. The 6th Grade Attendants and Escorts were Hailey McFann, escorted by Preston Malone, Blayr Knipp, escorted by Daniel Medinger, and Savannah Barnes, escorted by Mason Jones. Savannah Barnes was crowned as the Homecoming Queen for the 2019 Season.

Congratulations to the middle school boys cross country team for taking first place at the OVC meet. Great job to our middle school girls who placed second. A special recognition for those athletes will take place in the gym before homeroom on Monday.

I would like to thank the Rock Hill High School Junior and Senior Football Players and Cheerleaders, for coming to the Elementary to help with the Pep Assembly today. The kids were excited and fired up, to say the least, and it was an experience they will never forget! As student athletes, you represent the best of our school and our community. I am proud to see the type of young men and women you have become.
