
All students at Rock Hill High School will need to return chromebooks and chargers tomorrow morning at school, if they have not done so already. Thank you.

Rock Hill Middle School will be having its awards day, Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 9:00am in the RHMS gym. Doors will be opened for guardians and guests to enter at 8:30am.

Awards Day at Rock Hill High School will be held tomorrow morning at 8:45. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend as we look forward to honoring our students.

Tomorrow, Rock Hill Middle School administer a survey to inquire about students interests in outdoor sciences. If you do not want your student to participate, please contact the school.
In addition, RHMS will also collect student Chromebooks tomorrow. Students will need to bring their Chromebook charged, in its case with the strap, and the charger that was supplied by the school. These will be stored over the summer and readministered at the beginning of the next school year.

The final opportunity to turn in fundraising materials for Rock Hill Youth Cheerleading is Friday, May 20th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the little league baseball shelter. Uniform balances are also due at this time. Financial assistance is available to help with uniform costs.

The Rock Hill Local School District will hold it's regular monthly meeting Monday May 9 @ 6:00 pm @ The Board of Education offices.

The Rock Hill Youth Cheerleaders are hosting a vendor fair this Saturday, May 7th at Rock Hill Middle School from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Featuring over 30 vendors, food trucks, hourly giveaways, raffles, and a bake sale. Admission is $4 for adults. Ages 13 and under are free. All proceeds benefit our youth cheerleaders.
This will also be the final opportunity for any student entering grades Kindergarten through 6th this fall to sign up for cheerleading.

All students who attend Collins Career Center will be dismissed at 12:05 tomorrow to return to Rock Hill High School for Prom programs. Thank you!

he Rock Hill Youth Cheerleaders will hold cheerleading sign ups on Friday, April 8th from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. in the elementary gymnasium for any students entering Kindergarten through 6th grade this fall. A $25 sign up fee will be collected with registration.
A Pom Pom drive will also be held during this event, requesting anyone who has red or white Pom poms in good condition from previous seasons to drop them off for a chance to win a $25 gift card to Texas Roadhouse.

We want to remind everyone that our State math exam for grades 6-8 will be tomorrow. The State algebra exam for our students is this Wednesday.

Rock Hill Local School district needs personal attendants to work one on one with students on an as needed basis. To qualify for the position, you must have or be able to obtain ESEA qualification on an Aid license from the Ohio Department of Education. Rock Hill Middle School will begin their state testing tomorrow. The Ohio State Tests for English Language Arts will be administered tomorrow, Tuesday, March 29th for all grades. Please get plenty of rest, charge your Chromebooks, and eat a healthy breakfast in the morning.
Rock Hill Middle School will offer a three tiered reward system this year for state testing.
1.) Good Faith Effort, as defined by teachers. This will include attendance, time management, and utilization of test strategies. Good Faith Effort must be shown on all parts of the test. This reward would be a Friday Cook-out on the hill with a beach ball volleyball tournament.
2.) Growth, this is improving your score even just 1 point over the previous year. This reward would be a chance to dunk one of the principals in the dunk tank. Improve on 1 test get 2 throws, improve on both tests you get 5 tosses.
3.) Proficient or Grow a Band, this reward is tied to scoring bands. If they score proficient or above on 1 test or if they grow a scoring band they get 2 hours of game time at Malibu Jacks. Proficient or grow a scoring band on both tests earn 3 hours of game time.
