I would like to remind middle school stakeholders that tomorrow, April 16th is our in-school virtual Friday with enrichment.
The Rock Hill Middle School National Junior Honor Society induction is scheduled for May 13th at 9:45 am in the middle school gymnasium. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the ceremony will be open only to guest speakers/administration, current members, new inductees, and family members who wish to attend. Within the next week, letters will be sent to current members and new inductees requiring an RSVP of the individuals planning to attend. Further details will be listed in the letter sent home in regards to building entry protocol and seating arrangements.

This is an important message from the Rock Hill Middle School Administration. The Ohio State Tests for Mathematics will be administered tomorrow, Wednesday, April 14th for all grades. Virtual students will need to arrive at Rock Hill Middle School by 7:30 AM. They will be social distanced in the gymnasium. From that point, they will then be directed to testing sites. After all testing has concluded, virtual students will be allowed to go home via their guardian or individual on their emergency medical card.

The Rock Hill Local School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on April 16, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at the Board of Education office, 2325a County Road 26 Ironton Ohio, with some or all board members participating remotely via remote technology, with the following items being considered; discuss and possibly act on employment, dimissil, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of an employee and any other business the board considers necessary to transact. While the public will not be permitted in-person access to the Board meeting, the public may access the Board of Education meeting via livestream. Anyone can view the meeting on Redmen Live facebook.
The Rock Hill Family Medical Center is offering Dental Services to all students during school hours on Monday and Wednesday. If you wish for your child to participate, please contact the nurse in your child's building.
Rock Hill HS will be hosting “Family Night” tomorrow evening at 6:00 for any student (and his parents/guardians) who is in jeopardy of not receiving credits toward graduation. Dinner will be served and the after school credit recovery plan will be discussed in detail. Please feel free to call the high school tomorrow if you have any questions at all concerning your child’s credit status.
The Rock Hill Local School District Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting on April 8, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. at the Board of Education office, 2325a County Road 26 Ironton Ohio, with some or all board members may choose to participate remotely via remote technology. Lawrence County Health Dept. will have walk-in Covid vaccine clinics for anyone 18 years of age and older today 9 am-4 pm, tomorrow 9 am-7 pm, and Friday, 9 am-3 pm. We will have Moderna vaccine.
