The Rock Hill Local School District Board of Education would like to thank Patriot EMS for providing advanced trauma training to the district’s trauma team volunteers and transportation staff. Patriot EMS instructors and material were provided to the district free of charge. Patriot EMS is working closely with the district to ensure Rock Hill’s staff is trained and prepared to respond in the event of medical emergencies up to and including mass casualty events. Just a reminder that Rock Hill Middle School parent-teacher conferences will be held Monday, November 4th from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm. All middle school employees will eat dinner from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm. Please be aware of this time so you can appropriately schedule your time with teachers.

The Rock Hill youth recreation league will hold it's final basketball signups this Saturday November 2, 2024 from 12:00 to 4:00 in the Elementary Cafeteria. This will be for signups, uniform fittings and football equipment return. All signup fees must be paid at this time unless prior arrangements have been made with us. If they are not paid in full we will assume your child has chosen not to play. If you choose not to attend fittings you must select sizes. We wanted to inform guardians that Rock Hill Middle School students received their first nine weeks report cards today. Also, we currently have multiple students with missing assignments, which affects their averages. We want to partner with guardians to ensure all of our students continue to grow academically, completing assignments and homework in a timely manner so that children can be successful in their studies. Hosting team Ironton Middle School has changed the start time of the middle school soccer tournament game against Rock Hill to 11:00am on October 12th due to a conflict with procuring officials.
Rock Hill High School would like to remind all students and parents that picture day will be next week. All Seniors including students who attend Collins Career Center will have their pictures on Tuesday, October 15th. There will be a bus to take the students to Collins after they are finished with their pictures. All other students, grades 9 thru 11, will have their pictures on Wednesday, October 16th . Order forms are available in the high school office. Go Hill.
The Rock Hill Elementary P T O would like to remind everyone tonight is our "Trick or Treat" at the elementary.
We will be trick or treating beginning at 6:00 and will follow with a P T O meeting and Costume Contest at 7:00. Lots of categories to win.

Due to soccer officials not being available, hosting team Ironton Middle School has postponed tomorrow's soccer match against Rock Hill Middle School to this Tuesday, October 8th, at 5:30 at the Ironton soccer field.

Portsmouth City Schools postponed the September 24th Rock Hill Middle School 7th grade football game at Portsmouth due to forecasted severe weather. The game has been rescheduled for play next Tuesday at Portsmouth.
We just wanted to remind everyone that picture day at the middle school is this Friday, September 27th.
The Rock Hill Youth Cheerleaders will be hosting the Homecoming dance tomorrow, September 21st. The dance will take place in the Elementary Gymnasium. All students must be signed in and out of the front entrance of the elementary school. Pre-K- 2nd will be held from 5pm- 6:30 and grades 3-6 will be 7-8:30. Admission is $5 and concessions are available.
During the dance the cheerleaders will also be having a pulled pork dinner fundraiser in the cafeteria, available for the community to dine in or take to go for $12 each meal.
Due to the high school's makeup soccer match, Rock Hill Middle School will begin its homecoming football game against Gallipolis at 8:00 pm this Thursday at Redmen Stadium.
We wanted to follow up to make sure everyone is aware that the middle school football game against Ironton has been cancelled for the season.
