This is just a reminder that the Rock Hill Middle School Traveling Trophy Game against Coal Grove at Lemaster Stadium will be today, October 16th, at 6:30pm. The winner of the game claims the traveling trophy and concludes with an undefeated season. We hope to see you there.
Due to Coal Grove's 8th Grade Night, the middle school football game this Thursday, October 16th, will begin at 6:30pm.
Rock Hill Elementary PTO will have their annual Halloween Costume contest on Tuesday, October 14th at the Elementary. Students will be able to visit each wing of the building, in costume, and receive candy beginning at 6:00 pm. The PTO meeting will begin at 7:00 pm and judging of costumes will take place during the meeting, with prizes awarded after the meeting.

Due to officials not being available, South Point Middle School has cancelled the Rock Hill Middle School soccer match that was to be held this evening, October 7th, at South Point.
Rock Hill Middle School would like to remind everyone that the middle school football game against Fairland tomorrow, October 2nd, will begin at 7:00pm at the stadium due to a high school soccer match being played beforehand. Thank you.

South Point Middle School postponed the middle school soccer match at South Point this evening due to the possibility of storms.

The middle school soccer match against Portsmouth tomorrow has been cancelled due to Portsmouth being unable to field a soccer team. Also, the Rock Hill Middle School and Portsmouth Middle School volleyball game's venue has been switched to the Rock Hill Middle School gym tomorrow.

The RHLSD is seeking 1 to 4 Personal Attendants to be hired on an as needed basis to support a high school student in developing new skills and reducing challenging behavior.
These Personal Attendants will be provided paid training in CPI and behavior support techniques.
To be hired by the Rock Hill Local School Board as a Personal Attendant, an applicant must have:
1) Completed a Rock Hill Local School District Application,
2) Their BCI/ FBI background check sent electronically to the Ohio Department of Education (ODE),
3) Documented results of a TB test,
4) Either
a) college transcript showing at least two years of college coursework, or
b) a passing score on the Paraprofessional test, and
5) An Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

Any student who does not have their updated vaccinations completed and submitted by this date will not be permitted to attend school until the requirement has been met.
If you have already turned in your child’s vaccination records, thank you—no further action is needed. If not, please schedule an appointment with your child’s healthcare provider as soon as possible and provide documentation to the school office before Wednesday, August 27th.
