The Rock Hill Youth Recreation League will be holding its final signup and fitting for football this Saturday July 22nd from 10am to 4pm. This is open to Ages 5-12 and Pre-K -6th grades. We ask that C team players ages 6 and 7 be there between 10am and 12pm. B team players ages 8 and 9 be there between 12pm and 2pm. A team players ages 10 through 12 be there between 2pm and 4pm. Flag players ages 5 and 6 can come between 10am and 4pm as they only need fitted for uniform. Signups will be held at practice field concession During signups there will be a rummage sale of used and new football equipment and gear. The Rock Hill Middle School 6th grade orientation will be held the evening of August 10th at the middle school from 6:00 to 8:00. Please note that this is not mandatory for our incoming 6th graders, who will also have the opportunity to meet with their teachers during the evening of open house. We look forward to a great school year!

The Rock Hill Local School District Board of Education regular meeting has been moved from July 10, 2023 to July 17, 2023 @ 6:00 pm @ the Rock Hill Board of Education offices.

Rock Hill Varsity Cheerleaders will be having a car wash tomorrow from 9-2 at Advance Auto on park avenue.
High school boy’s soccer will be having open field on Thursday from 5-6:30.
Elementary Summer Intervention will begin next Tuesday June 20th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Parent drop off will be in the 3rd grade wing at the playground entrance.
If you child has not already signed up please contact the elementary school.
Bus driver's will be contacting bus children prior to Tuesday.
There will be open field for high school softball on Wednesday and Friday this week from 3:00-4:30.
High School Boy's Soccer will have open field tonight 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Schedules for open field will be handed out at this time.
Rock Hill Middle School wants to remind those 8th grade students who are becoming freshman that they will need to report to the middle school between 8:30am to noon each day to clean out your locker if this has not been done. The middle school will not be held responsible for items left in lockers.
Students going into 6th grade who have not chosen their class electives need to do so online through their school Google account or drop off the class packet at the middle school office with selected elective classes marked as soon as possible. Students who do not submit said classes will be placed in electives by the school.
There is a Mandatory Meeting for any middle school student going into 7th and 8th grade in fall interested in playing football this Monday, June 5th at 5:30pm at fitness center at middle school. Parents must be present at this meeting
Any High school boy interested in playing summer basketball needs to be at practice on Monday June 5th from 11 to 1:30 at the high school. Thank you!
This is just a reminder that Rock Hill Middle School summer school will begin this Tuesday, May 30th at 8:30am to noon. Buses will be in operation to pick up anyone who has signed up. Food will also be provided at the school. If you intend to drop off your child by car, use the same drop off area on the west end of the building by the stop sign. Pickups by car at the end of the day will be on the big parking lot on the east end. We hope to see you sign up and join us.
A reminder that we will be having an Early Dismissal on Friday, May 26th. School will dismiss at 12:30. Parent pickups will begin at Noon. This is the final day of the school year. We hope everyone has a safe and fun filled summer break!

Any student who plans to attend Rock Hill Middle School summer school will need to have their permission slip forms turned in by this Thursday, May 25th. Our program will run from 8:30 to noon beginning Tuesday, May 30th, with food and busing provided. Those students who received a retention letter are required to report. Other students are welcome to come for additional intervention and/or enrichment if they wish.
Rock Hill Middle School report cards have been given to students today. If your child has not picked up his or her report card, they will need to do so. Thank you.
From Coach Damron: Starting June 5th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm Monday - Thursday the middle school weight room will be open for any kid at the junior high that wants to participate. A mandatory football meeting with students who intend to play football and their parents will occur on June 5th at the middle school at 5:30pm. See Coach Damron for further details.
